FireBrick Bar & Grill Opens May 22

The FireBrick Bar and Grill will open on Friday, May 22. As we continue to navigate through these uncertain times, the safety of our guests, members and employees will remain the matter of greatest importance. Young’s management has been working diligently to put policies and procedures in place to cultivate a safe environment for everyone. We will be strictly following all recommended preventative measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, including guidance from the CDC, FDA, EPA, OSHA, the State of Michigan, and our local health department. Despite all of our efforts, you are entering a public facility at your own risk.

During this unprecedented situation, please bear with us as we push forward into the unknown. Each week brings new guidelines and we have been in contact with the proper channels to ensure we are within all required and recommended policies and procedures. Please don’t hesitate to call us with questions, concerns or recommendations at (906) 265-3401.

What to expect when visiting the Complex

Outside dining is available on our deck with a beautiful view of the course and Chicaugon Lake. Reservations are strongly suggested with the limited seating available.

We will be offering a limited menu, which can be found below. As we transition through this reopening process, Friday fish fry and Saturday prime rib will be temporarily unavailable. The restaurant will be open Wed – Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm. The bar will be open Mon – Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.

You will be greeted at the door by a member of our staff, at which point in time you will be asked a few short questions regarding COVID-19 (see below). We urge anyone who is experiencing symptoms to stay home.

We encourage all guests to wear masks into the building, which can be removed when seated. Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the Complex for public use.

Per state guidelines the Aquatics Center will remain closed. The downstairs of the Complex is closed to the public during this time.

The Pro Shop will be open for all of your golf needs. The maximum occupancy at one time is 4 people. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Designated line spots have been marked on the floor of the Pro Shop to encourage proper social distancing. If you do not feel comfortable entering the Pro Shop, we have a walk-up window for safe handling of transactions.

All employees will be wearing masks and kitchen staff will be equipped with gloves and masks.
